Main Area of Instruction: National and International

Karin has many years of operational experience as a Dog handler and Instructor in Mantrailing, Airscenting SAR, General Purpose, Live Body and Victim Detection, Explosive Detection. She also holds a Diploma as a Behaviour Practitioner and excessive experience as a Sport Dog Handler in IPO and Agility and is the creator of a Training and Assessment Program for Mantrailing Dogs for SAR.

KERRY BALLARD
Instructor

Main Area of Instruction: Lake District and Surroundings

Kerry has many years of mountain rescue experience, during which time she has always worked with the Life Body Detection dogs, who are trained to use air scent, locating missing people in Search and Rescue. She set up a dog unit within her team, which was training live body detection capabilities using air scent to detect missing people, trailing dogs and Victim Recovery dogs. Kerry has an extreme level of understanding about trailing. She is able to instruct handlers with high drive dog as well as has great skills to motivate dogs with a low to medium drive level. She has great abilities to highlight and solve training issues when training dogs and handlers

RICHARD LEE

Richard has many years of operational experience as a Dog hander and Instructor in Mantrailing, Airscenting SAR, General Purpose, Live Body and Victim Detection, Explosive Detection. He also has excessive experience in training and competing in Working Trials.

LIZ DADDY

Liz has many years of experience with training dogs. Liz has excellent knowledge about missing person behavior. She has an extreme level of understanding about trailing. She is able to instruct handlers with high drive dog as well as has great skills to motivate dogs with a low to medium drive level. She has great abilities to highlight and solve training issues when training dogs and handlers.

IAN YORKE WADE
Head Instructor

Main Area of Instruction: Essex

Ian has been around dogs all his life. He has 40 years’ experience training dogs. He has trained dogs for both obedience and working trails. He studies Canine Behaviour and gained certification in advanced ‘amichien bonding’ which is a holistic approach to dog training. Ian has worked with some of the most experienced instructors in the field of Mantrailing and gained operational status with his German Shepherd Jaeger in 2016.

CONOR YORKE-WADE
Assistant Instructor

Main Area of Instruction: Essex

Conor is the youngest operational Trailing Dog Handler in the country. He has gained his experience, by observing and participating in Dog Training and especially in Trailing by observing Dogs of all kind of breeds and their handlers with different skill levels for the last 8 years.
Conor trained his young German Shepherd to become a reliable Trailing Dog at such young age, he also participated as an observer in an Explosive Detection Dog Handler Course and had a huge part in training a Springer Spaniel to operational status.
We are expecting great things from Conor in the future and are very please to have him on board.
